Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (SMEDI) and Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA) agreed to build cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “For Provision Of Business Development And Management Services to Tevet Beneficiaries”. The MoU signing took place at TEVETA Head Offices, in Lilongwe on Tuesday, 7th September, 2021.
This MoU focuses on entrepreneurial capacity building of Tevet Beneficiaries and the signing of the MoU is expected to enable the two institutions to collaborate more closely on activities and issues of common interest, as well as to further develop the partnership in other areas of interest.
The MoU among others, will present an opportunity for TEVETA graduates to access tailor-made business development training to enhance their performance and competitiveness. TEVETA will after graduating its beneficiaries, undertake an assessment, identify and recommend to SMEDI the graduates in need of entrepreneurial trainings.
